Job summary

PEOPLE INC. seeks a dedicated on-site security/maintenance associate for senior living apartments. The role covers weeknights and weekends with on-call duties, ensuring safety, security, and timely responses to incidents.

A 2-bedroom apartment is provided on-site as part of the compensation package. Responsibilities include coordinated teamwork with the site manager and maintenance technician, daily security rounds, snow removal, and prompt reporting of issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to communicate with staff, tenants, vendors and other necessary parties.
• Must meet physical requirements: standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling and climbing.
• Lifting equipment up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Functions as part of the site team with the site manager and maintenance technician.
• On-call responsibilities include promptly responding to routine and/or emergency situations.
• Receives calls from Maintenance on-call and evaluates and resolves the situation when applicable.
• Responds to emergency calls from tenants and coordinates with the Manager as needed.
• Maintains building security with nightly rounds and during weekends/holidays as required.
• Snow removal and keeping entryways/walkways clear; debris removal as needed.
• Records actions and reports vital information to the supervisor promptly.
• Attends scheduled meetings and communicates with tenants to maintain visibility and access.
