Job summary

Right at Home Darien is seeking live-in Caregivers to assist seniors and adults with disabilities. Join a family-owned agency dedicated to providing quality care, enabling clients to live independently in their homes.

This role offers flexible scheduling options and a range of recognition programs. The ideal candidate should be compassionate, possess a valid COVID vaccine, and preferably have caregiving experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and desire to work with the elderly and disabled.
• Must be self-directed and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and non-medical support to seniors.
• Assist with daily living activities.
• Prepare meals for clients.
• Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Caring and compassionate and desire to work with the elderly and disabled
• Self-directed, with the ability to work independently
• Ability to read, write and speak and understand English as needed for the job
• CNA certificate preferred but not necessary
• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
• At least one year of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide preferred
• COVID vaccine required

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Offer both companionship and non-medical support to seniors in their own homes
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transfers
• Prepare meals
• Accompany Clients on errands or medical appointments
• Performs light housekeeping
