Qualifications

• Active Rhode Island CNA license (RI only).
• CNA license from any state, HHA certification, or other professional caregiver training preferred (CT only).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Basic technology skills for scheduling, timekeeping, and documentation.
• Ability to complete the agreed-upon live-in rotation.
• Professional references.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, transfers, and prescribed exercises.
• Prepare meals, complete light housekeeping and provide medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and meaningful engagement.
• Follow the care plan and help maintain a safe home environment.
• Observe and promptly report changes in the client’s condition.
• Complete daily documentation and communicate professionally with families and the ASQ team.
