Job summary

FCP Live-In is seeking a dedicated Live-In Caregiver to support clients in Stratford, CT. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, medication oversight, companionship, and light housekeeping, with a focus on maintaining independence at home.

Qualified candidates will hold CNA/HHA/PCA credentials and have health-screen and background-check clearance. Flexible availability to cover CT and surrounding states is required, with per-diem scheduling options.

Qualifications

• Certified CNA, HHA, or PCA with experience caring for the elderly.
• Successful health screens required per state regulations.
• Background and reference checks must be cleared.
• Flexible availability to work across CT, MA, NH, VT, ME, RI, and FL.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, and dressing.
• Provide ambulation support and assist with prescribed exercises.
• Oversee medications and remind clients as prescribed.
• Offer companionship and engage in wellness activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with shopping and errands.
• Perform light homemaking tasks and transportation as needed.
• Provide dementia/Alzheimer’s and hospice care as required.

About the Position:

Live-In Caregivers perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):

• Personal hygiene, bathing, dressing
• Ambulation assistance and help with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Medication oversight and reminders
• Companionship, socializing with the client, purposeful engagement, facilitating wellness
• Cooking, meal and snack preparation
• Shopping (grocery, household, other),running errands, transport to appointments
• Perform homemaking activities including
• Dementia/Alzheimer’s Care
• Hospice Care

Qualifications

• You are a certified CNA, HHA, PCA and have experience working with the elderly.
