Job summary

Right at Home Main Line in Delaware County, PA seeks a skilled Live-in Caregiver to join our compassionate in-home care team. You will live on-site and provide round-the-clock companionship and support to keep clients safe and comfortable in their homes.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of live-in caregiving experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. CNA or similar certification is preferred but not required; background check and TB test are required.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Live-in Caregiver.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Ability to lift and move up to 30lbs independently.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking in English.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License or State ID.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Current TB Test.
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification not required, but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Ambulation/Transfers.
• Eating assistance.
• Dressing assistance.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany patient to errands or medical appointments.
• Housekeeping tasks including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, dishes, changing bed linens, laundry, and cleaning bathroom.

Education

High school diploma or GED

CNA/Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide certification (preferred)

One year of live-in caregiver experience

• Personal hygiene (assisting the client to the bathroom or using a commode, bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair)

• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathroom
