Job summary

Cowley College is seeking an Assistant Coach/Dorm Manager for the Arkansas City campus. The role combines live-in duties with coaching responsibilities, including recruiting, training athletes, scheduling games, and coordinating travel.

The Dorm Manager duties include supervising resident assistants, planning activities, managing budgets, and conducting safety inspections. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a Master’s preferred, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Experience in baseball coaching and student conduct required.
• Ability to recruit, coach and teach student athletes.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork in a college setting.
• Knowledge of budgeting, planning and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach with managing men’s baseball program: training, scheduling, recruiting.
• Coordinate game-day logistics and travel arrangements.
• Supervise and mentor 2–3 Resident Assistants and dorm staff; manage budget for activities.
• Develop and implement housing activities; communicate events campus-wide.
• Inspect dorms for safety, cleanliness and compliance with policies.
