Job summary

Rollins College seeks an Area Coordinator to support and enhance the Office of Residence Life mission. The AC creates a holistic residential environment, supervising 10-14 Resident Assistants and coordinating staff development and training.

Responsibilities include community development, collaboration with Facilities and Campus Safety, on-call crisis response, upholding conduct policies, and managing department processes and budgets for their area.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree and understanding of residential living and leadership experience in residence life or related areas.
• Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in student personnel, educational leadership, counseling, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 10-14 Resident Assistants (RAs) including Senior RAs.
• Develop relationships with RAs through meetings and staff development.
• Facilitate training sessions and ongoing professional development for RAs.
