Job summary

Animal Place is seeking a hands-on Animal Care Supervisor to manage daily care operations for rescued animals. You will schedule tasks, supervise staff, and ensure timely health checks and documentation, while coordinating with the RVT and Animal Care Director.

The role requires leading shifts, training volunteers, and being on-call for after-hours emergencies. Onsite housing, health insurance eligibility after 90 days, and stipends are provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in animal rescue/shelter or sanctuary environments.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and ability to lead care staff daily.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily animal care tasks and scheduling for the 팀.
• Supervise care staff, interns, and volunteers; conduct 6-month reviews.
• Lead veterinary visits, transport animals for appointments, and onsite emergencies.
