Job summary

Steingg in Big Bend, Wisconsin is seeking an Associate for Live Goods to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience by building relationships and sharing horticulture or décor knowledge.

In this role you will greet customers, identify their needs, assist with selections, support merchandising and operations, and work across departments while maintaining clean, well-presented displays and using the POS system.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly to make them feel welcome.
• Develop professional relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Assist customers, identify needs, and educate to help choose right selections.
• Support merchandising and operational procedures with management.
• Follow management directions for other duties as needed.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure merchandise quality and presentation.
• Ensure current signage is displayed properly.
• Stock and rotate products per company direction.
• Be cross-trained across multiple departments.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and bag merchandise.
• Assist with floral and home décor displays.
• Clean fixtures, backrooms, bathrooms, and floors per policy.
• Participate in learning and development activities.
