Job summary

Player 15 Group, the sports and entertainment company behind the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, Valley Suns and more, seeks a Game Night Assistant, Social Media (Part-Time). You will support content creation, clip highlights, and publish to Suns social channels during game nights.

You’ll build templated graphics, manage live posts, and coordinate with the Suns Social Media Team to deliver engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Passion for social media strategy and community building online.
• Basketball knowledge including history, terminology, and strategic concepts.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• High level of confidentiality to handle sensitive information.
• Professional with high-profile athletes and celebrities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule, including long hours, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Previous internship or college experience managing social pages in athletics/sports space (preferred).
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite/Photoshop (preferred).
• Experienced content creator, shooter, and editor for real-time content across platforms (preferred).
• Experience supporting social strategies across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and other emerging platforms

Responsibilities

• Support live coverage of Suns games across social channels.
• Clip, edit and resize broadcast highlights in real-time to fit each channel's requirements.
• Create engaging social imagery using templates, graphics, and live score updates.
• Produce live edits of content tailored for TikTok and YouTube.
• Manage and publish content across social media channels.
• Other duties as assigned.
