Circuit of The Americas (COTA) is seeking a Social Media Specialist for COTALAND in Austin, TX. You will create engaging photo, video, and written content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and other platforms, capturing rides, events, and guest experiences.

You'll work with Marketing, Creative, Events, Operations, F&B, and Entertainment to tell the COTALAND story, cover live events, manage content calendars, and help grow an engaged online community with a strong brand voice.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Advertising, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional social media, digital marketing, content creation, communications, or related experience.
• Demonstrated experience creating and managing content for major social media platforms.
• Experience creating short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or similar.
• Experience with photography and videography, including the ability to capture content independently.
• Experience using social media management, scheduling, analytics, and content management tools.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating social media content, photography, video, or digital storytelling.
• Experience working in entertainment, hospitality, sports, theme parks, live events, or a similarly fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Experience covering live events or creating real-time social content is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support the development and execution of COTALAND’s social media strategy across platforms.
• Create engaging, platform-specific content; showcase rides, attractions, events, and guest experiences.
• Develop and maintain content calendars aligned with campaigns and park events.
• Capture high-quality photos and video content using cameras and mobile devices.
• Create short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories).
• Cover live events and park activities in real time.
• Collaborate with departments to identify stories and content opportunities.
• Assist with social media coverage for major events.
• Support influencer and community partnerships.
• Stay current on trends and new formats.
• Edit and package assets while maintaining brand standards.
• Maintain organized digital libraries and metadata.
• Coordinate photographers, videographers, freelancers during events.
• Review analytics and report on trends and opportunities.
• Use audience insights to improve future content.
• Protect brand voice and responses.
• Maintain messaging on all platforms.
• Support campaigns, contests, promotions, giveaways.
• Participate in park events and non-traditional work hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
