Job summary

Legends Global seeks a Security Officer for The PR Convention Center to protect physical assets and ensure a safe environment for guests, tenants, vendors, and contractors.

The role covers risk and loss management, safety compliance with OSHA standards, and collaboration with Event Services to manage large crowds during events. Requires OSHA knowledge and bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Strong written, read and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• In-depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and procedures.
• Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.
• Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Respond to security and safety calls in a timely manner, coordinate with local law enforcement as needed.
• Work with operations staff to meet visitors and programming needs.
• Perform exterior and interior rounds and report hazards.
• Write comprehensive incident reports and conduct investigations.
• Control loading docks traffic and direct drivers for efficient workflow.
• Ensure property is secured and protected from damages.
