Job summary

LEGENDS GLOBAL in Puerto Rico is seeking a Security Officer for The PR Convention Center. You will protect assets and maintain a safe environment for guests, tenants, and staff while enforcing security procedures and OSHA standards.

You will perform rounds, assist with crowd management during events, operate security systems, and write daily safety reports. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish, a safety background, and flexibility for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong English and Spanish communication required.
• In-depth OSHA/EPA legislation knowledge.
• Experience writing safety reports and policies.
• Proficient with MS Office; basic safety software knowledge is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with thorough investigative skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to security needs and safety calls in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with operations staff to meet visitor and programming needs.
• Conduct exterior and interior rounds and report hazards.
• Write comprehensive incident reports and investigations.
• Manage loading docks traffic and parking to enable efficient operations.
• Ensure property is secured and protected from damage.
• Record incidents and assist HR with claims.
• Oversee crowd management with Event Services during events.
• Operate CCTV, fire control, radios, elevators, and illumination controls.
• Provide guidance during evacuations.
