Job summary

INSPIRE Event Solutions is seeking a full-time Audio Visual Lighting Technician II (L2) to work at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO. The role focuses on live event lighting, rigging, and console programming in a hospitality setting, with opportunity to grow in the event technology field.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on lighting experience, strong customer service, and the ability to lift 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills proven through demonstrated ability to interact well with clients, both internal and external.
• Must be able to accommodate a flexible and short-notice work schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lighting fixture setup and focus; Electrical and dimmer controls; Lighting Console programming and operation.
• Rigging safety knowledge for lighting equipment.
• Strong computer skills – CAD or Vectorworks a plus.
• General Audio, Lighting, Rigging, Décor, Staging abilities & knowledge.
• Pull Equipment, load-in, set up, operate, Take Down, Load Out & Shop duties.
• Warehouse & Equipment responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.
