Job summary

Oak View Group (OVG) is seeking a highly creative Graphic Designer to support the Marketing department for the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center. You will translate marketing objectives into compelling assets across digital and print channels, including event branding, social media, emails, and signage.

The role emphasizes visual storytelling and brand-consistent campaigns that engage diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years professional graphic design experience preferred.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating digital, print, and marketing design work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and familiarity with After Effects.
• Experience designing for social media, digital advertising, email marketing, and print production.
• Strong typography, layout, and branding skills; ability to translate marketing objectives into visuals.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce marketing materials for concerts, conventions, sporting events, community programs, and venue initiatives.
• Create visual assets for annual event marketing campaigns and venue promotions.
• Develop digital advertisements, social media graphics, email assets, website graphics, posters, flyers, signage, and other branded materials.
• Basic video editing and simple animated graphics experience is a plus.
• Maintain brand consistency across marketing channels and campaigns.
• Collaborate with marketing staff and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of design projects.
