Job summary

Barclays Center is seeking an A/V Technical Engineer (Part-Time) to set up and operate audio systems for a variety of live events at the Brooklyn venue. This on-site role requires coordinating with clients and event staff to ensure flawless audio delivery.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in a similar role and a strong technical background in audio technology, with the ability to troubleshoot under pressure during events. Long hours, weekends and holidays are possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in a similar role or related field with relevant education.
• Candidate should have strong technical background in audio systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot under pressure during events.

Responsibilities

• Set up, test, and operate audio gear for concerts, sports, press conferences and private events.
• Interface with clients and technicians to obtain audio feeds for events.
• Deploy and test intercoms, mics, speakers and related equipment.
• Maintain inventory logs and coordinate equipment deployment and storage.
• Troubleshoot faulty audio cables and connectors during events.
