Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa is seeking an Entertainment Tech/Production Assistant to support the Entertainment Department during shows and events. You will help set up and tear down equipment, fabricate scenery, and assist with wardrobe and instrument setup to ensure smooth performances.

You must have a high school diploma or trade certificate and at least 3 years in event/concert production, with the ability to lift and work varying shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or trade school certificate required.
• 3 years of event/concert production experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of equipment, hardware and software used in the discipline.
• Ability to lift, pull and push equipment.
• Must work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operational functions of the Hard Rock Entertainment Department for shows and events.
• Set up and tear down of equipment, scenery, wardrobes, instruments, and tools.
• Perform fabrication, set-up, assembly and disassembly for professional shows.
