Job summary

Omaha Performing Arts is seeking a dynamic Social Media Content Creator for the Communications team. This part-time role blends in-office planning with on-site coverage of performances and events, including evenings and weekends, to produce authentic, on-brand content.

You'll shoot and edit short-form video and photography for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, craft captions, and help plan coverage with the shows calendar.

Qualifications

• Experience creating engaging photo/video content for live events.
• Ability to shoot/edit quickly in low-light or fast-moving environments.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and mobile editing tools.

Responsibilities

• Attend performances and events to capture content in real time.
• Shoot and edit short-form video for Reels, TikTok, and Stories.
• Capture photography with a social-first eye and draft captions as needed.
• Coordinate with Communications to plan coverage priorities for shows and events.
• Maintain organized, clearly labeled media files for team use.
