Job summary

Frontwave Arena in Ocean City, MD is seeking a part-time General Utility Worker to support event setup, venue upkeep, and light operations. You’ll assist with equipment, lighting, staging, and housekeeping to ensure a smooth fan experience.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic communication skills, and the ability to work under time constraints. This role is on-site and offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment in a premier sports and entertainment venue.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate (both verbally and in writing) effectively.
• Ability to work well under time constraints.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed, easy-to-follow written or oral instructions.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Set up, align, and bike racks, stanchions, tables, risers, and staging
• Lay basketball flooring and/or fields
• Set up dasher boards
• Unload and load production equipment
• Move equipment to the stage
• Stack sound equipment and speakers
• Set lighting
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Assisting the supervisor or manager with any tasks that are needed
