Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of management or event management experience coordinating events in a convention center, conference center, arena, stadium, hotel, or other multi-purpose event facility serving conventions, trade and consumer shows, meetings, banquets, concerts, sporting events, and other large-scale events.
• Working knowledge of convention center or event venue operations, facility services, event logistics, and related equipment.
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and organizing event logistics with stakeholders.
• Manage small to mid-size events ensuring successful execution.
• Coordinate activities with service contractors and internal departments.
• Communicate contract provisions, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between clients and facility departments.
• Monitor events from planning to post-event follow-up.
