Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services is hiring for part-time Event Security roles in California. You’ll check bags, enforce access control, and ensure guest safety while delivering excellent customer service at sports venues, concerts, and conventions.

Roles involve assisting with event setup, screen procedures, and maintaining a positive guest experience through effective communication and vigilance. Ideal for students, retirees, or those seeking flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensing requirements as per state/local laws may apply.
• Background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test required.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Control entry, verify tickets or wristbands, direct venue traffic.
• Screen guests at entry with bags, wand or metal detector, verify ID.
• Protect guests, staff and assets by monitoring security breaches.
• Respond to crowd control issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Understand venue policies and provide helpful directions to guests.
