Job summary

AEG is looking for a Security Officer to maintain the safety of employees, guests, and clients during shows and events in Richmond, Virginia. This key role involves constant monitoring, responding to incidents, and providing customer service support.

The ideal candidate should have a High School Diploma, relevant experience, and skills in communication and leadership. Pay ranges from $15.08 to $22.88 per hour with potential benefits. Note: No visa sponsorship is offered.

Qualifications

• 1 – 2 years of related work experience.
• Ability to qualify and be issued a security officer license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Guard Card.
• CPR and AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned area of venue on foot.
• Ensure all guests and employees have appropriate access.
• Assist with customer service needs before, during and after each show.
• Log all activity, movement and repairs.

Skills

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Expert organizational, leadership and time management skills

Knowledge of music industry and live events

Education

High School Diploma or its equivalency
