Job summary

Securitas is hiring a Security Event Officer at Boston TD Garden. This part-time role offers starting pay of $18.96 per hour with schedules based on events, primarily nights and weekends (5:00 PM–11:30 PM).

You’ll support a variety of events including Celtics/Bruins games, concerts, and shows. Responsibilities include crowd control, maintaining a safe guest environment, assisting police during emergencies, monitoring entry points, and conducting patrols.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to stand for long periods.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Crowd control to ensure patrons follow policies.
• Maintain a positive environment for all guests.
• Assist Boston Police Department in emergencies at the event.
• Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unapproved entry.
• Check bags to prevent weapons or unauthorized items from entering.
• Attend training and event staff meetings as required.
• Conduct periodic patrols as assigned.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
