Job summary

Spotlight Events, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician to support setup, operation, and troubleshooting of lighting, audio, video, stage equipment, and media systems at Spotlight and LEAP events.

This role requires strong organizational skills, customer service, and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced live environments; travel is required during event season and occasional national assignments.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical support, live production, or event AV setups.
• Training in theater technology, broadcasting, or related fields preferred.
• Experience with lighting, audio and multimedia in live events recommended.

Responsibilities

• Set up, test, and maintain stage, audio, video, lighting, and computer systems.
• Troubleshoot technical systems across performance spaces and retail areas.
• Coordinate with vendors and venue staff for proper configuration.
• Support security and ensure a safe event environment.
• Manage crew meal logistics and assist as announced or video specialist as scheduled.
• Manage truck loading and unloading and assist with staff meal procurement.
• Provide occasional support as Announcer or Video Specialist as scheduled.
• Manage crew meal logistics, including menu selection and ordering.
