Job summary

Insomniac Events is seeking a Production Runner to support the Back of House team. This on-site role involves transporting personnel, running errands, coordinating meals and purchases, and assisting production staff throughout a show day.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to work 10–18 hour days, and a detail-oriented, reliable, and team-oriented mindset. Background in live events and strong communication are a plus.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record and fully insured.
• Safe driving habits a must.
• Operational cell phone.
• Friendly and personable, works well with others but also able to work independently.
• Punctual, reliable, responsible, professional and courteous.
• Able to work a long day (typical show day runs anywhere to 10 to 18 hours).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for various personnel during show day, including hotel and airport pickups/drop-offs.
• Run errands such as meals, laundry, grocery shopping, and deliveries.
• Coordinate large take-out orders with local restaurants and distribute to touring staff.
• Coordinate grocery lists and deliveries to the venue.
• Assist production staff with general production-related duties.
• Maintain cash and receipts for expense reimbursement and reconciliation.
• Provide local area information to touring staff.
• Pickup and drop off company-rented 15-passenger and cargo vans.
• Perform light administrative duties (copies, signs, reconciliations).
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
