Job summary

ASM Global is seeking a Production Assistant for the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, TX. The role supports live events by assisting with staging, audio, video, lighting, and production logistics under the supervision of the Production Manager.

The position requires 1–2 years in touring or live event environments, with willingness to work evenings and weekends. It involves close collaboration with production crews and vendors to ensure top-quality show delivery.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of stage lighting, professional audio systems, and basic video systems.
• Previous event production experience preferred.
• 1–2 years in touring, live events, or stage production environments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with production crew and departments to ensure successful show delivery.
• Assist with load-in/load-out operations and handling of staging, truss, motors, and equipment.
• Collaborate with staff and external labor to maintain efficient workflow.
• Ensure equipment for performers is available and ready for performances.
• Safely execute load-in/out activities in line with venue standards.
• Report activities to Production Supervisors and Production Manager.
• Fulfill artist and client rider requirements as per contracts.
• Adhere to venue policies on staging, safety, and show protocols.
• Maintain event timelines and door times; monitor labor safety and efficiency.
• Perform other duties to support production operations.
