Job summary

Boro Dev Agency, LLC in Los Angeles, CA is staffing two contract network engineers for a major live event running May 7–22. You will build racks, label cables, transport gear, and stand up the network on-site.

The role requires CCNA-level knowledge and hands-on experience with IPv4/IPv6, NAT, VLANs, routing, and switches. Travel and lodging are provided, with meals and per diem during the deployment. This is an on-site role with long outdoor days and orientation prior to kickoff.

Qualifications

• Strong networking fundamentals (CCNA-level)
• IPv4/IPv6, NAT, spanning tree, TCP/UDP, BGP, VLANs, switches
• Experience with Ethernet, fiber, SFP modules
• Ability to work outdoors long days in a fast-paced live event environment
• Ability to follow drawings and configuration documentation

Responsibilities

• Build racks and label all cables at the staging shop before the event
• Transport and set up networking equipment on-site at the event venue
• Maintain and monitor the live network throughout deployment
• Direct on-site labor assistants - light instruction and coordination
• Attend a remote orientation call ~1 week before the job to review drawings and configs
• Execute clean tear-down and pack-out at the end of the event
