Job summary

Honda Center seeks a Media Technology Specialist to support the ROC’s day-to-day operations, focusing on digital signage and media systems across the OCVIBE district. You’ll work with the Senior Manager of Operations and other leaders to ensure reliable displays that enhance guest experiences.

The role requires 2+ years in live entertainment, familiarity with playback systems, and strong communication. On-site work, evenings, weekends, and holidays are common in this fast-paced venue.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years in live entertainment or similar environments.
• Experience with media asset management, metadata, and media delivery software.

Responsibilities

• Assist operations in maintaining digital signage and IPTV/Triple Play systems; troubleshoot network, power, and media content issues.
• Serve as event-day operator for Triple Play, broadcast control room, and Daktronics displays; perform quality checks.
• Support events with content activations and integrations with partners and marketing teams.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage to ensure accurate digital menu displays and pricing.
• Stay current on industry trends and recommend system upgrades or modifications.
