Job summary
OC Sports & Entertainment, LLC, doing business as Honda Center/OCVIBE, seeks a Lead Audio Engineer to lead live-event audio operations across a 17,000-seat arena and associated spaces in Anaheim. You will plan audio projects, manage staffing, maintain gear, and collaborate with production teams to deliver premier guest experiences.
The role requires 5+ years in live-event audio, strong knowledge of Dante, MADI, Q-SYS, Yamaha CL5, and a collaborative leadership style.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in live-event audio engineering in arena or related environment.
- Experience leading audio teams and directing production groups.
- Strong knowledge of professional audio systems and signal flow.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with event teams to define objectives and guest experience.
- Lead audio operations for live events across arena spaces.
- Plan staffing, schedules, and equipment configurations.
- Coordinate with video, lighting, and production teams.
- Mentor audio technicians and junior engineers.
- Monitor live mixes and respond to production direction.
- Manage RF coordination and wireless audio operations.
- Maintain equipment inventory and standards.
