Job summary

Versant Media seeks an on-site Infrastructure Engineer in Orlando to support, maintain, and improve critical technology across corporate, production, data center, and live-event environments. You will work closely with enterprise IT, facilities, vendors, and operations teams to deliver reliable infrastructure solutions in time-sensitive production settings.

This hands-on role requires working on-site in Orlando, with travel to venues and live events as needed.

Qualifications

• At least three years of infrastructure engineering or related technical field.
• Ability to work independently with good judgment and collaborate with teams.
• Knowledge of networking, virtualization, storage, cabling, and operational support practices.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting conference room technology and AV infrastructure.
• Experience supporting live events and venue-based operations.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and support nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations.
• Ability to lift, move, rack, and configure technical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day operations across servers, storage, networking, and AV systems.
• Install, configure, upgrade, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, AV, and production issues during live events.
• Prepare and deploy equipment at venues and temporary locations.
• Plan and deliver technology refreshes and live-event solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documents, runbooks, and diagrams.
