Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a part-time Concessions Supervisor for University of Louisville events. You will oversee on-site concessions operations, leading stands, kiosks, and portable locations to ensure fast service, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Role includes staffing, training, inventory awareness, and resolving issues; must meet age and certification requirements; lifts up to 40 pounds and shifts vary. This position offers flexible hours and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• 2–4 years of concessions, food service, or event-based operations experience.
• Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to supervise alcohol sales.
• Alcohol-service certification (TIPS/TEAM) or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee concession stands, kiosks, portable locations, and walk-out or autonomous retail stores as applicable.
• Assign staff to concession locations and adjust coverage based on volume and needs.
• Conduct pre-event or pre-shift briefings to review expectations, menus, service standards, and assignments.
• Address guest concerns promptly and elevate issues to management.
• Support onboarding and training of concession staff and leads.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time with regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned per client requirements.
