Rock The House is hiring an Installation Field Technician to install AV and lighting systems across various venues, including concert halls and commercial spaces.

This position involves hands-on installation, cabling, and system testing, providing a strong growth path to higher-level roles in the entertainment technology field.

Hourly pay ranges from $23 to $26, depending on experience, with paid training and overtime opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Experience with low-voltage cabling and basic construction environments.
• Familiarity with audio, video, lighting, and projection systems.
• Interest in creative lighting design and entertainment technology.

Responsibilities

• Install low-voltage AV and lighting systems.
• Pull, dress, label, and terminate low-voltage cabling.
• Support system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.

Skills

Experience with low-voltage cabling

Familiarity with AV systems

Comfortable with ladders and basic power tools

Ability to read basic drawings

Education

Q-SYS Level 1 preferred
