Job summary

Celebrity Cruises seeks an Entertainment Operator – Media and Content to manage daily video and content operations across the ship’s venues. You will set up, operate, and tear down video gear for shows, liaise with performers on requirements, attend rehearsals, and help stage resets to ensure top-notch production value.

Responsibilities include monitoring video output, coordinating with the Stage & Production Manager and Technical Director, and maintaining inventory and equipment health.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in theater, 3d design, or entertainment technology or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in entertainment or screen content and video operation, design, set up, and maintenance.
  • Experience with show networks (Art-Net, sACN, NDI) and IP-based video/control systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of video equipment, media servers, LED screens, and related electrical knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain video quality and operation across main theater and satellite venues.
  • Follow the daily schedule for events, rehearsals, and performances.
  • Liaise with Stage & Production Manager and Technical Director to improve production value.
  • Operate all media and video elements for scheduled events.
  • Open theater doors 30 minutes prior to showtime and ensure stage picture is appealing.
  • Keep inventory records for consumables and health of media servers.
