Job summary

NEP Group, Inc. in Miami is seeking a Transmission Coordinator to plan and execute broadcast events for diverse clients.

You will assess client needs, schedule resources, secure quotes, and manage end-to-end transmissions from initial booking to final billing, reporting to the VP Transmission Operations. This fast-paced role requires strong English communication, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and a solid understanding of live television transmission and production.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years experience and 4-year degree (or additional experience).
• Works well under the pressure of Live Television.
• General understanding and experience with transmission and production.
• Team player and prepared to learn new skills, embrace, and nurture a culture of change and positive attitude.
• Schedule flexibility with the ability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
• Spanish skills beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Report to the VP Transmission Operations and meet expectations.
• Coordinate events, liaise with clients, take ownership for all parts of the planning process.
• Work with freelancers and approve invoices in a timely manner.
• Proficient in scheduling internal and external resources within the VMS (equipment, third party, personnel).
• Assess delivery methods to meet customer requirements; strive for best value.
• Maximize transmission resource utilization (fiber, IP, satellite) for domestic and international events.
• Coordinate production resources (mobile units, crewing, contractors, generators).
• Lead coordinator for packages and client accounts; manage end-to-end scheduling and related paperwork.
