Job summary

Nixa Public Schools seeks an Assistant Nixa LIVE Coordinator to support the district’s student-run broadcast program by assisting with live event productions, supervising student crews, and ensuring consistency in production quality.

This role requires evening and weekend availability, with approximately 20 events per semester across fall, winter, and spring; strong communication and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to troubleshoot on-site and lift equipment up to 60

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, Broadcasting, or related field preferred; Teaching certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in video production, live broadcasting, or multimedia production preferred.
• Familiarity with broadcast equipment (cameras, switching software, audio systems) preferred.
• Experience working with or supervising students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Broadcast Operations; Assists in producing and leading live athletic broadcasts; Oversees production elements including video, audio, and graphics during events; Supports consistent production quality across all broadcasts
