Job summary

The Jay Group is seeking a dynamic on-camera host to anchor Bargain Lane Live shows. You will drive live selling on Whatnot, describe 250+ items per show, and engage the chat to close sales.

The position runs weekdays from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and is part-time with flexible scheduling. Prior experience on live sale platforms is a plus, but we will train you; personality, pace, and closing instinct are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong on-camera presence and ability to sustain energy for long live sessions.
• Proven ability to close sales and drive bids in a live selling format.
• Skill in reading crowd dynamics and adjusting pacing on the fly.
• Experience in customer-facing retail roles is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Host live Whatnot shows alongside a show assistant.
• Describe items rapidly and open bids to drive engagement.
• Engage the chat by name, celebrate wins, and maintain high energy.
• Stay locked on camera for the full show (4:00 PM – 8:00 PM).
