Job summary

The Jay Group LTD is seeking a dedicated live host for Bargain Lane Live at our Fort Wayne warehouse. You will anchor weekday shows, engaging viewers with rapid item descriptions and real-time bidding to drive sales and energy.

Prior live selling experience is helpful but not required; strong personality, pace, and closing instinct are prized. Training will be provided, with a fixed on-site schedule Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Ability to hold a room on camera for extended periods.
• Proven ability to close sales and drive bidding activity.
• Ability to read a live crowd and pivot quickly.
• Experience in retail or customer-facing roles.
• Willingness to receive feedback and improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Host live Whatnot shows for 3.5 hours with a show assistant handling inventory.
• Describe items rapidly, open bids, engage the chat by name, celebrate wins, and maintain high energy.
