Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norfolk, VA is seeking a full-time Music Director following the passing of the long-serving director. This role involves overseeing liturgical music, managing choirs, and ensuring high-quality sacred music is provided to the parish community. Ideal candidates will have a degree in music and relevant church experience, along with strong leadership and organizational skills. Formación

• Relevant experience in Catholic church music ministry is preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient organist and ability to read music.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and direct music for all liturgical functions.
• Lead and oversee the volunteer choir and contemporary ensemble.
• Create worship guides/music leaflets for liturgies.
