Job summary

Rimkus is seeking a Support Specialist, Human Factors in Irvine, CA, to provide skilled support to the operations group in client services. The role focuses on handling client-supplied materials and reviewing depositions and discovery documents, primarily for law firms and manufacturers.

Responsibilities include professional client communications, maintaining deadlines, and preparing concise materials for expert depositions and trial appearances.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent coursework; legal studies or related experience preferred.
• Minimum five years as paralegal, legal secretary, or legal assistant in a law firm or legal dept.
• Experience supporting civil litigation matters preferred.
• Experience with manufacturers or product liability a plus.
• Proficiency with PACER and Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Document & materials management: organize, log, and maintain client materials; track deadlines; ensure chain-of-custody and confidentiality.
• Deposition & discovery review: prepare concise, accurate summaries of depositions and discovery materials; identify gaps and coordinate with clients.
• Client & professional communications: maintain professional communications; draft correspondence and follow-ups; manage time-sensitive matters.
• General legal support: schedule meetings/deadlines; stay aware of applicable rules; assist subpoenas and document production.
