The role involves administrative and clerical support, drafting and proofreading legal documents, e-filing in California courts, managing case files, and coordinating attorney calendars.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of legal assistant or administrative legal experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Washington court systems and e-filing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and paralegals.
• Draft, proofread, and format legal correspondence and basic documents.
• File and serve legal documents, including e-filing with California courts.
• Maintain and organize case files, both physical and electronic.
• Manage attorney calendars, schedule hearings, and track deadlines.
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and internal staff.
• Prepare and process outgoing mail, scanning, copying, and data entry.
• Assist with discovery preparation and document production.
• Support high-volume caseloads while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Follow established procedures consistently and effectively.
• Use Microsoft Office and law office software proficiently.
