The role involves handling discovery, organizing case data, preparing subpoenas and pleadings, and operating litigation-support hardware and presentation tools to assist hearings and trials.

Qualifications

• One full year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-05 level in Federal service.
• Specialized experience includes operating litigation support hardware and software (Everlaw, Eclipse, Relativity, Trial Director, Camtasia Studio 8, MS Office).
• Performing routine litigation support tasks: organizing case information; cataloging, reviewing, and producing discovery; helping prepare for hearings, conferences, and trials.
• Closing hard copy and electronic case files after disposition; preparing appellate trial documents and exhibits.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the collection of discovery.
• Prepare, organize, index, develop, and manage exhibits, evidence and data, including electronically stored information.
• Prepare documents such as information requests, subpoenas, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Operate hardware like printers, plotters, AV devices for exhibits and presentations.
• Analyze and summarize factual aspects of cases from federal reports.
• Organize, catalog, review and produce discovery with indexes and production logs.
• Assist with organizing voluminous case information via scanning and indexing.
• Assist with hearings, conferences and trials.
