West Coast Trial Lawyers is seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Assistant to support attorneys with day-to-day litigation tasks. This on-site role is ideal for someone with personal injury experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and seeks growth within a high-performing legal team.

Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and coordinating hearings while maintaining client updates and case documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1–4 years of experience as a litigation assistant, legal assistant, or in a legal administrative role.
• Experience in personal injury, workers’ compensation, premises liability, or other injury-related practice areas preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular updates to clients and maintain accurate case documentation.
• Draft and proofread pleadings and legal correspondence under attorney supervision.
• Prepare and track discovery requests, subpoenas, and related deadlines.
• Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and supporting materials.
• Schedule hearings, depositions, and other litigation-related events.
• Assist in gathering and reviewing records, evidence, and case materials.
• Support case preparation for depositions, mediations, and trial.
• Perform general administrative and coordination tasks as needed.
