Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP, a global law firm, seeks a Litigation Project Coordinator for the Los Angeles office who serves as the central coordinator for the firm’s lemon law and warranty litigation practice. This role is responsible for monitoring case progress, tracking critical deadlines, overseeing client reporting requirements, and ensuring compliance with established litigation protocols. Working closely with attorneys and paralegals, the Litigation Project Coordinator helps drive efficiency, accountability, and consistency across a high-volume portfolio of consumer warranty matters.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and skilled at managing competing priorities while ensuring that cases advance in accordance with client expectations, and firm standards.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring litigation matters remain on track, reporting obligations are fulfilled, deadlines are met, and potential risks are identified before they become costly issues. Through proactive case oversight and quality assurance, the Litigation Project Coordinator helps improve client service, reduce operational inefficiencies, minimize sanctions and corrective work, and support successful outcomes for both clients and the firm.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain litigation tracking systems, case management reports, and matter‑specific checklists.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of client‑required status reports, litigation updates, and other reporting obligations.
  • Track and communicate critical deadlines, including client related obligations, expert demands/disclosures and trial preparation milestones.
  • Proactively remind attorneys and legal staff of upcoming deadlines, outstanding tasks, and required case activity.
  • Conduct routine quality‑control reviews to identify missing information, overdue assignments, potential deadline risks, and compliance concerns.
  • Generate performance metrics, and workload summaries for practice group leadership.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to maintain consistent case progression and timely resolution of warranty claims.
  • Escalate high‑risk matters, missed milestones, or compliance concerns to leadership for resolution.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of best practices, workflow improvements, and standardized litigation procedures.
  • Help reduce write‑offs, sanctions exposure, corrective work, and administrative inefficiencies through proactive project oversight.
  • Support budgeting, resource planning, and operational initiatives within the lemon law practice group.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent legal experience.
  • Experience in litigation support and legal operations.
  • Experience supporting high‑volume civil litigation, consumer protection, lemon law, warranty litigation, or similar practice areas preferred.
  • Strong understanding of litigation deadlines, court procedures, discovery processes, and case lifecycle management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous active matters simultaneously.
  • Advanced proficiency with case management, docketing, and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to identify risks, solve problems proactively, and maintain strict attention to detail.

California salary range for this position is $120,000 to $155,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.
