Trueline Talent's client, a growing Pittsburgh litigation boutique, seeks a Legal Practice Assistant to join its team in Pittsburgh, PA. This is an in-office role supporting attorneys on consumer and class action matters with precise court filings and calendar management.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of litigation support experience, strong proofreading skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach in a small-firm setting.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of litigation support experience
• Hands-on experience completing electronic court filings
• Excellent grammar, proofreading, formatting, and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines accurately
• Self-directed with willingness to learn and take ownership

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys across active litigation matters, focusing on consumer and class action cases
• Prepare, organize, proofread, format, and finalize legal documents and correspondence
• Complete electronic court filings accurately and on deadline
• Assist with state and federal court filings, including matters outside Pennsylvania
• Maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and litigation-related documentation
• Coordinate with attorneys to move matters forward and track important deadlines
• Provide day-to-day administrative and litigation support in a small-firm environment
• Learn firm-specific procedures and jurisdictional requirements
