Jobot is seeking a dynamic Litigation Partner to join our Parsippany, NJ office in a permanent role. The candidate will manage a diverse docket and handle complex matters across employment, land use, education, cannabis, and corporate litigation, collaborating with leadership to grow the practice.

The ideal candidate has a J.D., state bar admission, 8+ years of litigation experience, strong trial and research skills, and a proven ability to develop clients and lead teams.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar.
• 8+ years of experience in litigation with a broad practice range.
• Proven track record of success in litigation, including trial experience.
• Strong legal research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Excellent client service orientation and ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong business development skills and ability to attract new clients.

Responsibilities

• Managing a diverse portfolio of litigation matters, including employment disputes, land use/zoning issues, education law matters, cannabis law issues, corporate & business litigation, government-related litigation, commercial litigation, and business litigation.
• Representing clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
• Providing sound legal advice to clients on complex legal matters and potential litigation risks.
• Developing and implementing effective litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for our clients.
• Collaborating with other partners, associates, and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Keeping abreast of developments in the law and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
• Participating in business development activities to attract new clients and expand the firm's client base.
