I'm Ryan Jaiswal at Distinct Recruitment, and I'm recruiting a general liability defense partner for an insurance defense firm's Orlando office. You'll be in the office alongside the team, which in practice means quick decisions, real mentoring of the associates around you and a practice that runs the way you want it to.

The role

A portable book is preferred, not required. If you have one, great; it shapes the compensation conversation. If you don't, and you've spent years doing the work behind someone else's relationships, that's a story I hear often and the firm is open to it. Strong trial skills and good client instincts are worth a lot here.

Compensation

$200,000+, negotiable depending on your book and experience. I'd rather discuss real numbers on a call than put a ceiling in an ad.
