Distinct Recruitment is recruiting a Litigation Partner for an insurance defense firm in Orlando, FL. This role is built around ownership of the files, clients and the way the team works, with quick decisions and real mentoring.

You will lead a general liability docket (premises liability, negligent security, products claims), serve as first chair, and shape how cases are staffed and staffed with associates. Building strong carrier client relationships is essential.

Qualifications

• Florida Bar admission with substantial general liability defense experience.
• Trial experience, ideally first chair.
• Strong client relationships and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leading a general liability docket: premises liability, negligent security, products claims and commercial GL exposure
• First chair trial work and strategic oversight of the files your team handles
• Managing and developing associates, and shaping how cases are staffed
• Building and deepening relationships with carrier clients and claims professionals
