About the Opportunity

I’m currently recruiting an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a well-established defense-oriented civil litigation practice in Columbia, South Carolina

This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced litigators on substantive defense matters, with meaningful responsibility for discovery, file management, case preparation, and day-to-day litigation support.

The practice has a long history in South Carolina and handles sophisticated civil defense matters for insurance carriers and other institutional clients. The work spans a range of litigation matters, giving strong paralegals the opportunity to build broad and valuable defense-side experience.

What You’ll Do

• Support attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle
• Prepare and organize discovery
• Manage active litigation files and maintain case records
• Assist with case preparation and document organization
• Coordinate litigation-related deadlines and filings

Salary and Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $70,000 - $80,000. Factors that may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
