Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures, terminology, and legal documentation.
• Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and assignments.
• Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential client and case information.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with preparation for trials, hearings, depositions, and other litigation proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and locate relevant case law, statutes, and other legal authorities.
• Draft, prepare, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and related filings.
• Organize and maintain case files, records, correspondence, and other litigation documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other parties to obtain information and supporting materials.
• Prepare trial exhibits, documents, and other materials needed for litigation.
• Track case deadlines, court dates, filings, and other important dates to help ensure matters remain on schedule.
• Assist attorneys with case management and day-to-day litigation support.
• Stay current on applicable legal procedures, filing requirements, and regulations.
• Perform other paralegal and litigation-support duties as needed.
