Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with ABA paralegal certification or Associate/Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies preferred.
• 5+ years minimum litigation paralegal experience.
• Detail oriented with strong proofreading skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of legal principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys during litigation, including pre-claim investigations and drafting legal documents.
• Manage hard copy and electronic case documents; maintain indexes and case files.
• Coordinate deposition scheduling, hearings, mediations, and trials; track deadlines.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw and other authorities as needed.
• Assist with document production and Bates labeling; perform quality control.
• Cite-check briefs, motions, and exhibits for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain deposition databases and manage discovery processes from start to finish.
• Coordinate expert retention, disclosures, and trial preparation logistics.
